A. Total campus area

The Total Area of Halu Oleo University is 4.860.000 m2. The main campus covers an area of 2,520,000 m2, the Second Campus covers an area of 70,000 m2, Third Campus covering an area of 30,000 m2, and Fourth Campus (Agro Complex Research  Site) covering an area of 2,240,000 m2.

The total floor area (all floors) occupied by the building including the ground floor and other floors of the Halu Oleo University building is 123,996 m2

The area of the ground floor occupied by the buildings at Halu Oleo University is 52,877.83 m2

B. The ratio of open space area to total area

The percentage of open space on the Halu Oleo University campus is 97,45%, with the following explanation: Total campus area (4,860,000 m2) – Total campus ground floor area of buildings (123.966 m2) / Total campus ground floor area of buildings (52.877,83 m2) x 100%)

C. Total Area on Campus Covered in Forest Vegetation

From the four (4) locations of Halu Oleo University campuses, the forest vegetation areas are only at 2 (two) campus locations, namely:
(1) The main campus with a total forest vegetation area of 1,198,100 m2 and;
(2) The fourth Campus (Agro Complex Research Site) with a total forest vegetation area of 1,810,900 m2
Total forest vegetation area: 3,009,000 m2, Total distance / circumference: 13.17 km,
Percentage of total forest vegetation: 63,21%
